Sea Bass Fillet Rice

Ingredients:
  • 175 g (¾ cup) germinated rice, washed and drain
  • 400 g sea bass fillet
  • 350 ml hot water
  • 2 star anise flowers
  • Chilli powder, to taste
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper

Methods:
  1. Put rice into a pan with the measured hot water, season with salt, chilli powder and star anise, cover and cook over low heat for ± 20 minutes or cook in rice cooker
  2. Remove pan and leave to stand for 5 minutes without removing the lid
  3. Coat sea bass fillet with oil and season with salt and pepper
  4. Heat frying pan with cooking oil over medium heat and fry the fillet until cooked
  5. Serve rice with fish fillet, the star anise can be used to garnish rice
